Katya Pylova is a bilingual actress working and living in New York City.
Katya started studying theatre and attended music school while growing up in Russia. Being a multidisciplinary dance performer all her life, she has been on stage since a young age and has always had a deep passion for the art of performing.
After moving to the US in the early 2000's, she graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in International Business.
Following graduation, she went on to pursue a career in modeling and has been a successful fashion-model working in the US and Europe.
During this period, Katya started studying acting, leading her to pursue it professionally.
Under the guidance of esteemed acting teachers Alice Spivak, Karl Bury, Bradley Calcaterra, Alexey Burago, Lyle Kessler, and The Barrow Group, Katya has since booked roles on major productions for both HBO, Amazon, as well as both leading and supporting roles in multiple short films.
